Honestly, you shouldn’t have to look up how to rename your ship in Starfield, but here we are. A convoluted user interface stands in the way of usability.

So here is how you do it at the moment:

1. Find ship technician and ask to modify your ship
2. Enter the Ship Builder
3. Go to the Flight Check
4. Enter rename your ship
5. Access the text box in the new menu
6. Confirm
7. Exit and confirm modifications
